Non odiate i cristiani, perché una volta odiavano gli ebrei, hanno odiato anche i comunisti e c’è qualcuno che continua ad avercela con musulmani, buddisti e induisti… I cristiani hanno sbagliato nel passato, anche loro hanno tolto vite senza una reale ragione, rivendicando quegli atti come “guerra santa”, ma noi non abbiamo le colpe di generazioni e generazioni fa… Come disse qualcuno: “chi non ha colpe, scagli la prima pietra”. Questo può valere per individui singoli, così come per i vari popoli della Terra. L’odio genera odio, la violenza genera violenza, la paura alimenta paura. Non avete capito che tutti abbiamo difetti e che sta nella diversità la vera ricchezza? Il relativismo e il confronto sono una sorgente inestinguibile di apprendimento. Sì, perché se ci sono cristiani ottusi e chiusi, ce ne sono anche altri dotati di mentalità più aperte e disposte al dialogo. Allo stesso modo, ci sono musulmani estremisti e violenti come ce ne sono altri che sono buoni, fortemente religiosi e pacifici. Funziona così, tutte le categorie hanno individui migliori e peggiori… il categorizzarci porta l’ordine nella società, ma anche il conflitto. Eppure, viviamo tutti sotto questo immenso cielo la cui origine rimane un mistero.

Don’t hate christians, because in the old days someone hated hebrews and communists too and there’s someone today who hates muslims, buddhists as well as hindus. Christians made huge mistakes in the past, they used to kill lots of people as well without a real reason declaring those actions justified for “holy war” causes, but christians these days don’t have the sins of many previous generations… As someone said: “let he who is without sin cast the first stone”. This can apply to every individual as well as to any of the peoples of the Earth. Anger only brings more anger, violence breeds violence, fear feeds fear. Haven’t you understood that we all have imperfections and it’s in diversity where richness lies? Relativism and discussion are an inextinguishable source of learning. Yes, because if it is true that there are only narrow-minded or closed christians, but also many more open-minded and prepared to dialogue. At the same time, there are extremist and violent muslisms as well as there are many gentle, strongly religious in a good way and peaceful. That’s how it works, all categories have both better and worse individuals… categorizing ourselves is a way to bring order in society but also conflict. Nevertheless, we all live under the same immense sky.
